Welcome to my home page! I’m an Assistant Vice President in the International Research Function of the Research and Statistics Group of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, a Research Fellow of the CEPR, and the Co-Director of the International Trade and Macroeconomics program of CEBRA . I’m on leave from the Department of Economics and Business at the Universitat Pompeu Fabra, where I am an ICREA Research Professor, as well a Research Professor at the Barcelona GSE, and a Research Associate at CREI.
My research focuses on international spillovers and macroeconomic fluctuations. My recent work exploits big data to study the response of firms, banks, and consumers to economic shocks.
